Glass Clouds Ensemble performs a concert for soprano + strings at the Anita Rogers Gallery in Soho, featuring recent commissions in partnership with Earth Matter NY, and string quartet repertoire by Robert Schumann, Kaija Saariaho, and Caroline Shaw.

In partnership with Earth Matter NY, Glass Clouds Ensemble performs a concert of world premieres and music on themes of nature, featuring guest theorbist Alex Vourtsanis. Concert followed by a farm and compost tour of Earth Matter, with complimentary treats from the farm!

GCE’s first concert in partnership with farm & compost org Earth Matter, NY. Featuring world premieres by Seare Farhat and Matthew Schultheis, inspired by Earth Matter’s mission to care for our natural surroundings through community composting.

Featuring world premieres by Melissa Dunphy, Christian Quiñones, and Forrest Eimold that explore the effects of the natural environment on their sensory experience of home, and impacts of environmental destruction. Workshopped at Yellow Barn in March, 2023.

Recorded Water by Filippo Lepre, and improvisations inspired by Pauline Oliveros’ sonic meditations and “deep listening” exercises.

In partnership with Monica Ibacache of Beyond Organic Design, hosted by the James Cohan Gallery. World premieres by Lauren Conroy, Hannah Ishizaki, and Filippo Lepre inspired by Ibacache’s work in permaculture education.
